Relay For Life is an awesome community event and an important fundraiser for the Nelson Cancer Society. In 2012 players & volunteers from the Fulton Hogan Basketball League aka 'Team Rainbow' took up the challenge and completed the circuits of Saxton field! Great effort Team. 

Since 2014 we've teamed up with the NBS Nelson Giants to run 'Shoot for Hoops' at Relay  - lots of fun and friendly competition as the relay team members try to outscore each other on their way around the track!

Relays in 2020 - 2022 were cancelled due to the pandemic. 2024 and it's been Great to be back trackside supporting the Nelson Cancer Society and community. We teamed up with Nelson Basketball Association and enjoyed the action at the Hoops! Thanks to everyone involved.
