There was a Taste of Magic at Jack Robbins Stadium last night as the Titans recorded their first win of the season [playing in the open summer league]. Sinnae and Marion and Dallas were bolstered by the addition of Jess Bygate to provide well balanced girl power and it showed! Lots of points and great defence! Not to be out done the boys helped the girls to hold the other team to only 68 points, our best defensive game of the season. Trailing in the last quarter by 8 points the Titans left it to the last 6 seconds, one point down, to grab the lead for the first time in the game. As Graeme drove to the basket on our last chance to score, he was fouled...2 points and the lead! But could we shut them out? Great man to man defence from under the offensive basket defence in the last 5 seconds shut Team Monoploy out and a great win for the Titans!!!
